RestockSimple Privacy Policy

RestockSimple provides inventory monitoring, reorder level management, supplier management, purchase orders, and stock receiving tools for Shopify merchants.

Information RestockSimple processes

RestockSimple processes information needed to provide its inventory management features. This can include:

• Shopify store domain and app authentication/session information.
• Product and variant identifiers, SKUs, inventory quantities, and inventory location information obtained through Shopify APIs.
• Reorder levels configured by the merchant.
• Supplier information entered by the merchant, such as supplier name, email address, phone number, and notes.
• Purchase order information, including products, quantities, order status, notes, and receiving progress.

RestockSimple does not request or use Shopify protected customer data and does not collect information directly from a merchant's customers.

How information is used

Information is used only as needed to:

• Provide and operate RestockSimple's features.
• Identify low-stock and out-of-stock products.
• Save merchant-defined reorder levels and supplier assignments.
• Create, manage, and receive purchase orders.
• Update Shopify inventory when stock is received.
• Maintain secure app authentication and sessions.
• Diagnose technical issues and maintain the reliability of the app.

Service providers

RestockSimple uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the app. These currently include Shopify, Railway, and Supabase. Information may be processed by these providers where necessary to provide hosting, database, authentication, and Shopify platform services.

Data retention and deletion

RestockSimple retains merchant app data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet operational or legal obligations.

When RestockSimple receives Shopify's required shop data redaction request after an uninstall, shop-specific RestockSimple data is deleted from our application systems. Shopify session information is also removed when the app is uninstalled.

Data security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information handled by RestockSimple. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, merchants may have rights relating to their personal information, including requesting access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain processing.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when RestockSimple's functionality, data practices, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
